General Overseer of Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Kofi Oduro, has reacted to the death of Circle-based phone dealer Nana Yaw Kyere, popularly known as Terry or Dinero, describing the incident as the tragic end of a young man’s life. His comments come as details surrounding the phone dealer’s death continue to generate public concern.
Nana Yaw Kyere reportedly travelled from the Circle area of Accra to Teshie on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in connection with what was described as a phone business transaction. Before communication with him stopped, he reportedly sent a WhatsApp message to a close friend indicating that he had been “set up” and shared his location.
His body was later reportedly discovered in the Teshie area on Thursday, September 24, after days of searching by relatives and friends. His Honda Civic was also recovered, while at least three suspects were reportedly arrested in connection with the case. However, several details surrounding the circumstances and motive remain subject to police investigations.
Reacting to the incident, Prophet Oduro used strong language to describe the circumstances surrounding Terry’s death, saying that the life of a young man had been cut short by what he referred to as a “harlot.” His remarks have added to the growing public discussion surrounding the case and the circumstances that reportedly led the phone dealer to Teshie.
Reports surrounding the case have alleged that a woman had developed a relationship or friendship with Terry before he travelled to Teshie. Some accounts have suggested that the meeting may have been connected to a possible setup, but these claims have not been fully established by the police and should therefore be treated as allegations while investigations continue.
The death of Nana Yaw Kyere has left his family, friends and colleagues mourning and has raised serious questions about the circumstances that led to his final trip to Teshie. A candlelight vigil was held by his friends and colleagues on Saturday, September 26, where mourners gathered to remember him and demand answers over his death.

While Prophet Oduro’s comments have drawn attention to the alleged role of a woman in the events leading to Terry’s death, the full circumstances of the case are yet to be conclusively established. With suspects reportedly in custody and investigations ongoing, the key issue now remains uncovering what happened to the young phone dealer, establishing the roles of those involved and ensuring that due process is followed.
“I have married for 27years, I dont understand why some people say they get tired of one woman and want another. That is foolishtalk, but I tell you, it is a grave for the person who wants something to swallow your life. A young man who was full of life has been cut off by harlot,”’he said
For Terry’s loved ones, however, the investigation is more than a criminal case it is about getting answers and closure after the sudden loss of a young man who left home expecting to conduct business but never returned. His death has also served as a reminder of the need for caution when meeting unfamiliar people, particularly in situations involving valuable goods or private arrangements. Until the police establish the facts, claims about the motive and the involvement of specific individuals should remain treated as allegations rather than established facts.
