KATH constructing hostel for relatives of patients that would be admitted at the hospital- CEO
The Chief Executive Officer of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), Dr Paa Kwesi Baidoo, has disclosed that the hospital is constructing an ultra-modern hostel facility for relatives of patients who spend extended periods at the facility.
According to him, the hospital has also appealed to the Church of Pentecost to collaborate with
management to construct another hostel for relatives of patients.
“The hospital on its own is already constructing a hostel facility. We have also appealed to the Church of Pentecost to build one here, and so these two hostel projects, once completed, will help accommodate relatives of patients,” he said.
He noted that once the two projects are completed, relatives who accompany patients to the facility would no longer have to sleep outside the facility would no longer have to sleep outside and endure the cold weather.

The hostel projects form part of efforts by the hospital’s management to improve patient care and the welfare of relatives who accompany
