Ghanaian broadcaster and content creator Daniel Gyan-Kesse, widely known as DJ Slim, has expressed reservations regarding dancehall artist Stonebwoy’s handling of recent industry disputes.

Speaking during an appearance on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz 103.9 FM, DJ Slim shared his thoughts on Stonebwoy’s public response during a recent back-and-forth with Sarkodie. While noting that he often supports the award-winning musician, the media personality revealed that he disapproved of the singer taking to a live video stream to address the situation.

“Stonebwoy should’ve stayed on the text. It was clean & precise. He shouldn’t done the TikTok live,” DJ Slim stated.

Elaborating on his critique, DJ Slim pointed out that live video broadcasts leave artists vulnerable to intense public scrutiny and overanalysis. He explained that video content allows viewers, body language specialists, and voice analysts to dissect emotional cues and tone, often creating unintended narratives. According to the presenter, sticking strictly to a written statement would have been a cleaner and more effective approach for the reggae-dancehall star.

The commentary follows heightened social media banter within the Ghanaian music industry, where artists’ communication methods and public exchanges continue to generate intense debate among fans and pundits alike.
