Newly elected National Second Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, has pledged to work with the party’s leadership and members to secure victory in the 2028 general elections.
Nana B made the commitment after being elected at the NPP’s National Delegates Conference in Kumasi. He expressed appreciation to delegates for entrusting him with the position, describing his election as both an honour and a step forward in his political career.
He said his experience as the party’s National Youth Organiser and National Organiser had prepared him for his new role and pledged to collaborate with the newly elected executives to strengthen the party ahead of the 2028 elections.
Nana B said the party’s immediate task is to unite its members, improve its organisational structures and present a strong front ahead of the next general election.
The new NPP leadership is expected to spearhead the party’s reorganisation and mobilisation efforts following its defeat in the 2024 general elections.
Nana B also congratulated the party and delegates on what he described as a successful electoral process. He urged the newly elected executives to put aside differences and work together to advance the interests of the NPP.
He further called for unity and cooperation among the new leadership as preparations begin for the 2028 general elections.
