Ghanaian music star Fancy Gadam has revealed that a wave of major high-profile collaborations is on the way, featuring some of the country’s top music hitmakers including King Promise, Amerado, and Kojo Black.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with Adwoa Afranewaa Frimpong on Orange 107.9 FM’s Orange Urban Mix, the Tamale-based star shared insights into his current projects, his work ethic, and the strategic rollout plan his team is putting together for his unreleased material.
“I have so many collaborations, so Ghanaians should watch out, King Promise, Kojo Black, and Amerado. My team and I will decide which one we should drop next.”
The singer, who is currently in Kumasi on an intensive media tour to promote his latest single featuring Nigerian star Rudebwoy (formerly of P-Square), spoke about the deep creative synergy behind the international connection. He revealed that he traveled personally to Nigeria to work on the project at Rudebwoy’s home studio, where they wrote the song and shot its accompanying music video.
Elaborating on the narrative behind the new release ‘I Don’t Need You’ featuring RudeBwoy, Fancy Gadam noted that the single carries a strong message about self-worth and authenticity in relationships: “This new song is all about when you are with someone and the person is faking it, you just have to move on.”
Touchingly candid about the financial demands of staying connected with his national fanbase and managing media runs across regions, the artist lightheartedly admitted that mobility takes up a huge chunk of his budget.
“I spend so much money on transportation, that is what most of my money is actually spent on”, he shared.
With a massive catalog of star-studded songs lined up and a fresh international single currently making waves, Fancy Gadam’s fans can expect a stacked schedule of releases as his team finalized their next single rollout.
