A London derby between Brentford and Tottenham will end the action on Saturday, and I believe this game will end in a goalless stalemate.
Enzo Maresca’s era at the Etihad begins on Sunday when Manchester City host Bournemouth. I do not see any upset in this game, as the hosts will have enough firepower to neutralize Marco Rose’s men. 3-1 for Manchester City.
Aston Villa will make a trip to East Sussex to play Brighton, and I believe they have what it takes to beat the Seagulls in this early-season encounter. 1-0 for Aston Villa.
Liverpool end the day with an away game against Newcastle United. The Magpies will hold the Reds to a 1-1 draw.
Chelsea will start their campaign against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Monday. I see the Blues starting theirs off with a 2-0 win.
