The newly elected Secretary of the Italy Branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Prince Boateng, has pledged to spearhead the party’s reorganisation, strengthen international relations, and promote financial sustainability as part of efforts to reposition the branch.
Mr. Boateng was elected unopposed during the party’s Delegates Conference held on July 25, 2026, in Modena, Italy. A total of 108 out of the 128 registered delegates participated in the election.
Campaigning under the Mpatapo (pacification knot) Adinkra symbol, Mr. Boateng stated that his administration will be anchored on five key pillars: reconciliation, reorganisation, restructuring, international relations, and financial sustainability.
He expressed his commitment to fostering unity within the party while ensuring the long-term financial viability of the Italy Branch.
In accordance with the party’s amended constitutional provisions, all branch executives have been elevated to Regional Executive status.
