Atwima

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Atwima Nwabiagya South, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah, says recent reports accusing him of ignoring NDC supporters and using threats in his work are not true.

In a press release, the MCE’s Office said the claims being shared in the media are false and meant to create confusion in the area. The statement said Hon. Boamah is working for everyone in the municipality, no matter their political party.

The Office explained that all development projects, including the District Roads Infrastructure Programme (DRIP), have been done fairly and with input from different groups in the community.

“We follow the right steps when choosing people for positions. No one is picked because of politics,” the statement said.

The MCE added that he continues to meet with community leaders and listens to the needs of residents.

“This municipality belongs to all of us. I want peace and development, not division,” Hon. Boamah said.

The Office is asking the public to ignore the false stories and support efforts to build a better community for everyone. Hon. Boamah says he is open to honest conversations and wants all groups to work together for the good of Atwima Nwabiagya South.
