John Agyekum Kufour the Former President of Ghana has called Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the perfect leader for Ghana during this pivotal time .
In an interview on Asempa FM, Kufour commended Bawumia’s abilities and voiced his confidence in Bawumia’s leadership. He believes Bawumia’s vision and skills make him the ideal candidate to navigate Ghana’s current challenges.
Kufour remembered the criticism he faced when he initially called Dr. Bawumia a “man of destiny.” Despite receiving insults and opposition, he continues to firmly support the current Vice President.
“I faced criticism for calling Bawumia ‘a Man of Destiny,’ but I stand by my words. I believe he is the leader Ghana needs right now, and Ghanaians should give him a chance,” he stated.
Former President Kufour reaffirmed his belief in Bawumia’s potential and suitability for the presidency. During the interview, Kufour praised Bawumia’s track record, noting his deep understanding of Ghana’s economic landscape and innovative governance approach.
He highlighted Bawumia’s foresight as crucial for addressing complex economic issues and implementing progressive policies, seeing his leadership as key to advancing Ghana’s development.
