re-run

The Accra Regional Police Command says it is fully prepared to provide security for today’s Parliamentary Re-run in the Ablekuma North Constituency.

According to a statement signed by Superintendent Juliana Obeng, Head of Public Affairs for the Accra Region, police officers have been deployed to all 19 polling stations set up by the Electoral Commission for the re-run election.

The police are working to maintain peace, law, and order throughout the voting process. Officers are also monitoring traffic and movement around the voting areas to prevent any disturbances. Barriers have been set up to stop people without permission from entering polling stations.

Tight Security Measures for the Re-run

The Police Command is asking the public to follow all election rules, cooperate with officers, and help keep the election peaceful.

They are also encouraging anyone who sees suspicious behavior or individuals to report immediately by calling 18555 or 192.

The re-run is being closely watched by voters and political parties, and the police say they are committed to ensuring a safe and fair election.
