On Monday around 8 a.m., NDC supporters gathered at Akomadan Cocoa Shell, demanding that NPP executives release the fertilizers without party-based restrictions. They argued that the resources were intended for all farmers, not just party affiliates.
The disagreement escalated into violence, leading to the death of one individual, suspected to be an NDC supporter. Authorities are investigating the incident as tensions continue to rise in the constituency.
