A 27-year-old Mobile Money (MoMo) vendor, Patricia Nimako, was tragically shot and killed at her kiosk in Krofrom, Ashanti Region.
The suspected armed robbers made off with GH₵10,000 and several mobile phones.
The incident occurred around 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, when two armed men attacked her shortly after she had withdrawn money from the bank.
An eyewitness reported that Patricia was shot in front of her shop.
Patricia was rushed to Manhyia Government Hospital, where doctors confirmed her death.
Residents in the area expressed their fear of a potential return of the robbers, prompting concerns about safety.
The police have since visited the scene to initiate an investigation into the incident.
