Director of International Relations for the McDan group of companies, Nana Ama Amoah delivered a speech at the 17th gradaution ceremony of the Garden City Univerrsity on behalf of the CEO of the McDan group of companies, Daniel McKorley.
Nana Ama AmoahNana Ama Amoah said with, purpose, pursuit, and passion for national and youth development, Daniel McKorley and the McDan Group of companies we glad that the Garde City University continued to show consistency in their purpose to deliver practical education.
She shared that the CEO for the McDan group of companies, Daniel McKorley was particularly drawn to the Ashanti Region. Quoting the CEO, she said, ” There is something about the Ashanti Region, Ashanti Region is flowing with talent, ambition and possibilities”
She added that the McDan group of companies saw the graduation ceremony as an opportunity to invest in the future leaders of Ghana and commended the Garden City University of their persistency in producing graduates who shape their professions and Ghana at large.
Nana Ama Amoah encouraged the graduates to brace themselves as they step out into the professional world.”The world wil not slow down for you, so you have to learn, unlearn and relearn”, she said.
She further encouraged the gradutes to look out for problems and aim to provide solutions, ” do not just look for jobs, look for problems because that is how great men are made”, she stressed.
Nana Ama Amoah emphasized the relevance the importance of values in the professional world and the need for graduates to have a strong character. ”Talent and skill will take there but it takes character to keep you there”, she pointed out.
In concluding, she encouraged the gradutes to do their very best and dominate their professional fields .
