The dead body of a final year biological sciences student, identified as Joana Deladem Yabani has been found on the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology campus early this morning.
According to the University, her body was discovered near the KNUST Disability and Rehabilitation Centre at about 5:00am this morning on February 27, 2025 after the KNUST security services received the report. Upon confirming her death, the university promptly transported the body to the University Health Services for further examination.
The University Management has however released a communique, assuring the University students and public of a comprehensive investigation with the Criminal Investigations Department(CID), KNUST Internal Security and the University Health services to determine the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident.
