The New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary candidate, Gifty Ndoma, is confident about clinching the Ejura seat from the opposition NDC.
Despite the NDC’s historical dominance in the constituency, Gifty believes that the party has not made significant efforts to develop the area.
The farming community is facing various challenges such as poor road infrastructure, high unemployment rates, and security issues.
Addressing party supporters at Ejura as part of Dr. Bawumia’s tour of the Ashanti Region, the parliamentary candidate noted that the NPP is best positioned to address these challenges effectively and urged the constituents to give her the opportunity to lead the constituency for the first time.
The NPP previously held the seat for one term with candidate Mohammed Salisu Bamba from 2012 to 2016.
The governing party is determined to regain the seat in the upcoming elections.
Flagbearer and Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, endorsed Gifty Ndoma as the ideal candidate to represent the constituency in 2025.
He encouraged the electorates to vote for both the parliamentary candidate and himself to ensure comprehensive development in the area.

A mammoth crowd stomped Ejura to welcome the Vice President as he continues his tour of one of the party’s heartlands in Ghana.
