Flight 2283, which left Cascavel, and was headed to Guarulhos, in São Paulo state, according to Flightradar24 data, crashed in a residential area of Vinhedo.
The airline Voepass initially reported 62 people had been on the plane but later revised the figure to 61, confirming the deaths of all 57 passengers and four crew members on board.
“At this time, Voepass is prioritizing provision of unrestricted assistance to the victims’ families and effectively collaborating with authorities to determine the causes of the accident,” the company said in a statement
“There are no survivors,” Col Emerson Massera of the Brazilian military police told reporters at the crash site in the city of Vinhedo late on Thursday.

Flight tracking data according to CNN shows, the aircraft took off shortly before noon local time and had been cruising at 17,000 feet until 1:21 p.m. local time when it dropped approximately 250 feet in 10 seconds.
It then climbed approximately 400 feet in about eight seconds. Eight seconds later, it lost just under 2,000 feet. Then, in approximately one minute, it began rapidly descending—roughly 17,000 feet in just one minute.
Brazil’s Civil Defense said the aircraft crashed into multiple houses. No one was killed in the surrounding residential area, Valinhos City Communications Director Ana Cândida Briski said.
A video shared on social media showed the ATR-72 aircraft spinning out of control as it plunged down behind a cluster of trees near houses, followed by a large plume of black smoke. Witnesses described hearing the plane before it crashed, with one person saying it fell on the roof of an elderly couple’s house.
This crash will become Brazil’s deadliest since 199 people were killed in 2007.
