The Regent of Akrofuom, Nana Anim Agyekum II, has commended the government for granting district status to the town, leading to notable advancements in the community.
During a meeting with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer, Nana Anim Agyekum II expressed appreciation for the district’s progress since its establishment.
While acknowledging the positive changes, the Regent stated the need to improve the town’s road infrastructure to further boost development in Akrofuom and its environs.
He urged Dr Bawumia to prioritize addressing this issue for the benefit of the community.
In response, Dr Bawumia assured the residents that he would address the poor road network in the constituency if elected as president.
He highlighted the accountability that comes with seeking a second term, promising tangible results in road development for Akrofuom under his leadership.
