Confusion erupted this morning at a polling center in Afigya Kwabre North Constituency as voters navigated five polling stations in the same location. Many voters, after waiting in long queues, discovered they were in the wrong lines.
An elderly woman is said to have arrived at 3 a.m. to cast her vote but realized she was in the wrong queue after about three hours. After spending hours in the wrong queue, she faced resistance when she tried to join the correct line. Other voters refused to allow her to skip ahead.
The woman’s plight brought attention to the situation, prompting many to double-check their assigned polling stations. In a video, voters can be seen rushing between queues after realizing their mistake.
