The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) in the Ashanti Region has reported that the intermittent power supply affecting some areas of the region is due to a faulty transformer at their Bulk Supply Point in Anwomaso.
Residents experienced a power outage from March 16 to the morning of March 17.
In a brief statement, the company assured the public that engineers are working diligently to resolve the technical issues and restore power as quickly as possible.
“Affected customers should please note that GRIDCO engineers are working assiduously to resolve the technical and restore,” the statement indicated.
